PUBLIC NOTICE - VILLAGE OF MORRISVILLE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Morrisville will hold a public hearing on August 12, 2021 at 7:10 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, at the Town of Eaton Building, 35 Cedar Street, in the Village of Morrisville to consider a proposed local law entitled, “A local law to amend Chapter 169 of the Code of the Village of Morrisville.” The proposed legislation amends the speed limit on Cambridge Avenue, Amherst Circle, Radnor Lane, Williams Street, Union Street, East Maple Avenue, Jefferson Avenue, Mill Street and West Maple Avenue from 30 MPH to 25 MPH.

All interested persons will be heard at this public hearing. The complete text of the local law as proposed is available for review at the Village Clerk’s Office during the Clerk’s regular business hours.

PUBLIC NOTICE - VILLAGE OF MORRISVILLE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Treasurer of the Village of Morrisville, Amy Will, has received the Tax Roll and Warrant for the collection of taxes for the fiscal year 2021-2022 and will collect same at the Village Office, 23 Cedar Street in said village. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Village Office is closed to the public. Taxes may be paid by mail as indicated on the bill or by depositing in the after-hours slot at the Village Office. Taxes will be received without fees until June 30, 2021. After June 30 a fee of five per centum will be charged and an additional one per centum per month thereafter.

No taxes will be collected after October 1, 2021 and the tax roll will be delivered to the Madison County Treasurer’s Office for collection.
