Village of Morrisville offices are closed until further notice in an attempt to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The Village Office will have limited staff working reduced hours. We encourage residents with questions or concerns to call or email as many can be answered this way. To contact the Village Clerk use villageclerk@frontiernet.net or the Code Enforcement Officer morrisvilleceo@frontier.com. Alternatively, call the Village Office (684-7007) option 2 and leave a message if there is no answer.

VILLAGE OF MORRISVILLE - PUBLIC NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a special meeting of the Planning Board of the Village of Morrisville will be held on June 10, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Town of Eaton offices located at 35 Cedar Street, Morrisville, New York to meet with the Village’s attorney for the purpose of receiving legal advice.

PUBLIC NOTICE - VILLAGE OF MORRISVILLE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Treasurer of the Village of Morrisville, Amy Will, has received the Tax Roll and Warrant for the collection of taxes for the fiscal year 2020-2021 and will collect same at the Village Office, 23 Cedar Street in said village. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Village Office is closed to the public. Taxes may be paid by mail as indicated on the bill or by depositing in the after-hours slot at the Village Office. Taxes will be received without fees until July 1, 2020. After July 1 a fee of five per centum will be charged and an additional one per centum per month thereafter.

No taxes will be collected after October 1, 2020 and the tax roll will be delivered to the Madison County Treasurer’s Office for collection.

VILLAGE OF MORRISVILLE - PUBLIC NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the June meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Morrisville has been rescheduled to June 11, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Members of the public body will be participating via videoconferencing technology, with no in-person location. The public may listen to or view this meeting via web-based video technology by going to zoom.us/join and entering Meeting ID 496-003-2450.

A transcript of the meeting will be available at a later date.

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Morrisville are conducting this meeting pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.1.

By order of Judge Lawrence Marks, the Chief Administrative Judge for the state of New York, the Eaton Town Court, and the Morrisville Village Court are closed at this time due to the current COVID-19 outbreak. All essential court operations have been transferred to Madison County Court. If you have not been notified that you need to appear there, then your case has been adjourned, and you do not need to appear until notified. You will receive a new court date in the mail.
