Madison County and many of its residences, businesses and infrastructure have suffered greatly over the past few years due to naturally occurring disasters, including floods, tornado, high winds and severe winter storms.
Madison County and each of its local jurisdictions have joined together to create a hazard mitigation plan. Once completed this plan will offer a significant opportunity to reduce the effects, damages and losses associated with natural disasters. The plan for the Village of Morrisville may be found as a PDF below.
Madison County is committed to reducing the risks associated with natural disasters and limiting the hardships created by these events. As sections of this plan update become available in draft form they will be published to the Emergency Management website for public review and comment.
